In these challenging times, you may be searching for ways to keep your kids occupied and learning while they’re home. WGBH’s Distance Learning Center was created to support you and the kids and teens in your care with high-quality, trusted, and engaging digital education resources

We’ve curated a selection of free resources from the extensive PBS LearningMedia library and other WGBH Education initiatives, with a focus on self-directed activities

Our resources span grade levels from PreK, K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12, cover a wide range of commonly-taught and interesting subjects, and are presented with time estimates to help caregivers select activities.

Students can get to know real scientists from all over the world! You can join a scheduled live session or fill out an online form for your family to get matched with a scientist. Your family and your matched scientist connect over email and pick a time to chat about science. 

 

Do you want to chat with a scientist over video chat from your living room? We will match you with a scientist for free! These sessions are q&a conversations, so you and your kids/roommates can talk with a scientist about what makes YOU curious. We have lots of different scientists to choose from, so don't be shy! All you need is a zoom/google hangout/skype/ or other video chat client and an internet connection!
